It’s truly such a good feeling to realize we were able to change lives of 4 innocent souls..
Pappai and Sia were two of our special need cats, Pappai being fully blind after the head trauma he suffered from and Sia lost one of his eyes after being found on roads with bad eye infection.
Happy was a Persian cat found in abudhabi after her owners dumped her on roads and Calico was an Arabian Mau who came to us as a day old and was bottle fed by us until grown..

We would like to thank the amazing Doggy Be and Naema Almuhairi for their generous donation towards their flight cost.

Thank you ladies for donating and supporting us,We are truly thankful and appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.

Een paar van de ongeveer 50 katten die een van mijn vriendinnen in Dubai van de straat hebben gehaald. Deze zitten bij Diana, een Grieks Amerikaanse vriendin. Zij woont alweer 30 jaar in Dubai. Haar beide zonen zijn het huis uit.

Mocht je iemand weten die een lieve ex straat kat uit Dubai wil adopteren, geef dan mijn telefoonnummer en die persoon kan ook bij mij langskomen in mijn Kattenkasteeltje om mijn Dubai katten te ontmoeten. Het zijn echt leuke lieve en zeer slimme dieren.

Lord Assad was one of the 7 cats project in summer 2014 who travelled from Dubai to Holland for adoption with the help of Cats of Dubai and 38 smilies and donations of people who have helped them from their nightmare in the streets of Dubai to a safe and happy life at the catcafe in the centre of Holland.

Beautiful Beauty is on her own. No one to protect her. Is there anyone in the UAE / Dubai who can foster her or better to adopt her?

Zonder enige bescherming is zij overgeleverd aan alle gevaren.

De extreme hitte, overal onbetrouwbare dier-onvriendelijke mensen, andere straatkatten die haar aanvallen en in ondragelijke eenzaamheid zal zij moeten zoeken en vechten om hopelijk eten en vers water te vinden. Ze zal het niet lang maken op s...traat. Elke seconde, elk uur, elke dag telt. Haar einde is nabij.

Bestaan er nog wonderen?

Wie in Nederland wil dit mooie meisje adopteren? Haar toekomst is onzeker en zal binnenkort op straat belanden in de verstikkende hitte en er is niemand die voor haar zal zorgen. Ze woont in een van de vele onleefbare achterbuurten, waar honderden andere zwerfdieren aan hun lot zijn overgelaten. Beauty ziet er goed uit en is gezond omdat ze tot nu toe verzorgd werd door een tiener-meisje uit Bangladesh die, sinds 2 jaren, als enige de verant...woordelijkheid op zich neemt om de katten in de buurt eten te geven en te verzorgen. Zij kan het niet meer opbrengen en heeft hulp nodig van buitenaf, maar tot nu toe is er geen hulp gekomen vanuit Dubai. De voortplanting gaat voort op straat. Alles verloopt zeer traag en ondertussen zijn de (zwerf)-dieren de dupe van onverantwoordelijkheid en nalatigheid van mensen.

This cat needs safety and security. He is taken from SZR to the clinic last Thursday for castration and is still there.

He only can stay at the clinic latest on comin...g Thursday 19th of May. If nobody has place in the garden, he will be released back to the SZR where he was staying. He is skin over bones, but this does not show on the picture.

Someone in Holland who is willing to adopt?
Is er iemand in NL die dit moederpoesje en of babies wil adopteren? Ze leeft in een ondergrondse auto parkeerplaats in Dubai en het is daar nu al bloedheet in april. Ze wordt door iemand gevoerd, maar dat is alles. Heel Dubai, UAE zit vol met zulke situaties en nog veel erger. Uitgedroogd en ziek. Dit poesje wordt gevoerd, maar voor hoe lang? Ze zit op een gevaarlijke en onveilige plek.

RED was the star on the Feline Friends calendar Dubai 2013 after he was rescued (May 2012) from a trash container on the Al Wasl Road in Jumeirah (near the Pharmacy Life). He was trying to get out, but could not manage by himself. He travelled to Holland in Summer 2012 and found his forever home. Red is beautiful and lucky.

This is Red in Holland Summer 2012. He was found in the carbage container in Dubai when he was a little kitty. Now he is adopted and has a great future in Holland.

This all started after I read an explanation of why cats go about repeatedly exploring the same areas: it’s partly to establish and survey their territory, but they’re also practicing ‘mobile’ hunting: moving about, being curious, and poking their noses around in the hopes of upsetting potential prey and finding a meal. So what if my cat, while out on patrol, actually found its prey?

Surely this would bring him one step closer towards a more fulfilled and self-actualized indoor kitty existence. I imagined hiding little bowls of food around the house… then I imagined me actually refilling these bowls.

Then I imagined having to move them around to different hiding spots, spilling, forgetting, and every so often, perhaps only after following a trail of ants, finding one undiscovered and rancid. Hmmm, maybe there’s a way to hide something else, a way to hide something other than food, a way to make something not-food = food…

He has his companion Fleurtje (little flower in Dutch), girl of 6 months old, white & black, who is also for adoption.

Instead of the Red Chair, this time Sandra Hermann Photography The Netherlands has placed me on the Red Arabian Sofa to bring my voice.

I have been living for many years in a cage together with my brother in sadness where we could not run and only could watch the birds, who live in freedom outside. We forgot the appetit for food and were highly depressed. But lately we're released and we are extremely happy and excited in our new real home.

We are running, playing and following the birds from the windows. Soon we'll have a catdoor installed in the door, so we also can go into the garden.
That is our DREAM.

I hope that more animals and so many pets will be released from their prison very soon. To live in FREEDOM is the greatest happiness of existence.
